We agree wholeheartedly and so the idea of these stunning horseshoe bookends was created. Handmade from wood and reclaimed horseshoes, these book ends suggest a passion for reading and a love for horses and the outdoors to anyone who sees them in your home.
Crafted from either reclaimed wood with a natural finish for a more characterful rustic appearance or from sustainable new wood and then varnished with a medium oak finish for a slightly newer yet still traditional appearance, these bookends measure approximately 16 cm wide x 14 /15 cm tall (depending on horseshoe size used) and 10 cm depth. This size makes a sturdy support for books and is perfect for either paperback or hardback books of most sizes.
We can either use our own horseshoes, or for a more personalised product, you can choose to have us build one using your own horseshoes. Simply choose the option to use your own when making the purchase and we will forward the address for you to send them to. Once your horseshoes have arrived with us, we will remove any rust, then clean and polish your old horseshoes before creating your very own unique bookends.
